White Scarlet

I'm back!! I felt so thrown off this week after getting back from my trip, trying to play catch up with a bunch of stuff and then having it rain for 2 days straight.  The weather is beautiful today and I am loving it.  I've kind of been on a white kick lately as you will see more of when I post my Chicago pics, so I decided to do a little white on white with a pop of color!

I'm obsessed with my skirt from Sugar Lips!  It's got a sporty chic feel to it the way it's cut and the lace was the perfect touch.   I instantly fell in love when I saw it.  I knew I wanted to do white on white so I went with this loose fitted top tucked in.  Originally I was trying to find some sort of crop top but I didn't have any luck.  I am completely obsessed with my new shoes too!  I seriously can't get enough of ankle strap sandals!

How amazing is this Marilyn bag from F&W Style?  I've been searching for the perfect red bag and I finally found it.  I love the little details of the bow and gold hardware and the fact that you can wear it more ways than one.  Sometimes I just need a break from shoulder bags so it's kind of refreshing to be able to just hold this with the cute top handle! It also comes with an adjustable strap too.

This bag is part of F&W Style's Spring 2013 collection and it's definitely one of my favorites.  This bold color is sure to make any outfit stand out and as you can see it was the perfect addiction for my look.  It's also a great size because it's big enough to fit all your necessities but it won't overpower your outfit.  Make sure to check out the rest of their collection and I am sure you will love it as much as I do!   Stay tuned for another one of their bags coming to my blog soon :)

Naty Poppins?

Hi loves!  It's a rainy Wednesday and since I am still waiting on my outfit pics from Chicago, I thought I would do something silly today.  I have been super busy since I got back and haven't had time to take any new outfit pics.  I had to go out in the rain to run some errands and thought I would snap a few quick pics which turned into me having a little fun with my umbrella lol

This isn't an actual outfit post but I might as well share what I am wearing!  Just went for casual comfort with a little protection from the rain. 

I wrote something yesterday that I want to share with you and hopefully it will inspire you a little bit. 

Chasing after your dreams is never easy. It can be scary and it can be a struggle. It forces you to step out of your comfort zone and leave behind stability.  But let me just tell you that once you catch your dreams everything you went through doesn't seem to matter anymore. It's all worth it and all the obstacles suddenly make sense. When my father died a part of me died with him. I felt so lost. And in my darkest moments I made a promise to him and myself that I would go after what I want and do what I love. And I have. I am. And now the part of me that once died has now come alive again.

Chicago Weekend Wrap UP

Hello loves! I am back from Chicago and trying to catch up on so much today!  I thought it would a good idea to share some photos with you that I took on both my Canon & iPhone during my trip.  I shot some outfit photos out there too with the amazing Grant Legan and as soon as I get the images I will be posting them later this week and next week too, so stay tuned. So excited to share!!

When we got there Friday it literally felt like a winter day and I was so not prepared. Thankfully Saturday and Sunday felt more like Spring! The Chicago streets really reminded me of NY, only the people and vibe are so different.  Everyone is super nice and friendly.  I met so many people in just 2 days.  Love all the buildings & lamp posts too. So pretty.

We stayed at The W in the loop downtown.  I was obsessed with this Wish Pillow and quote on the wall, it's one of my favorites.

The first night I went to an event at a boutique called Dove Tail.  They sell pieces from local designers in Chicago as well as vintage goods.  Pretty cool!

After the event we went out for some food and drinks.  On Saturday, I shot all afternoon with Grant.  But before that, went to check out Navy Pier and grab a quick bite to eat.

After I shot my looks, I did some pics for STOCK MFG.CO hats.  They're a Chicago based brand.

After shooting, I went back to the hotel for some food and wine with my sis and friend and then spent the rest of the night out at a couple of different spots with Grant and his friends.  Everyone was amazing love them all!

I wish I had taken more scenic pics but there was just not enough time to do everything that I wanted to do.  The weekend flew by so fast.  I am definitely planning another trip to Chicago this summer for a longer period of time so I am excited to go back and explore some more!  I cannot wait to share my outfit photos with you too! Naty Grams

It's been so long since I did an Insta-Recap!  I'm headed to Chicago tomorrow morning on an early flight and wanted to get another post in before the weekend so I figured today would be the best day for  this!

As always, here's 9 of my favorite/recent instagram pics!

1.  Finally got myself a rolling rack!  I thought this would be perfect for the new pieces that I receive and it makes it so much easier to see what I have to style for my blog.  I got this one on amazon for $15 and it's easy to put together!

2. I went to lunch this day and wore my favorite blue shoes and floral print pants.  Love the combo! 

3.  My little creative space!  I have Audrey & McQueen on the wall, a view of new clothes, fresh flowers on the table, my macbook and of course my mustache mug for morning coffee :) I think it's important to make your workspace inspiring.

4.  Selfie in my H&M floral pants.  I shot pictures this day but unfortunately they just didn't translate well on camera.  Love this print though!

5. It was beautiful this day so I went to the park in my Nirvana tee from Forever21 :) Sometimes it feels good to just rock a tee and jeans! 

6. The love of my life turned 3!  Kiko is seriously the best dog ever and I am so blessed with him.  We always get him the cutest little birthday treats and he loves his PAW-TY hat

7.  I have been buying myself fresh flowers once a week for the desk in my room.  It makes me smile and brightens my day.

9. A little sneak peek of what I am bringing with me to Chicago.  I honestly always wait till the last minute to pack because I never really know what I will be doing and what I want to wear.  I swear I am the worst!  The weather over there has been similar to here in Jersey, just a little cooler but I am still dressing for Spring!  I really wish there was a way to transport my entire closet :)

THE WAY WE ARE

I wore this outfit last Friday but wanted to wait and post it this week because the shirt I am wearing is to help promote the new site of The Way We Are.  It just launched today! One of the easiest and most comfortable pieces I own are these boyfriend jeans.  I love dressing them up with heels or making them more casual with a graphic tee.  I honestly prefer these over my skinny jeans.  This denim is super soft which I feel makes them more wearable.  Who wants to wear stiff denim all day? Not me! lol This outfit has a real casual vibe but to dress it up a bit I added my black Prabal shoes and new favorite statement necklace.  Pieces like this one are such a great addition to any outfit because it really makes them POP.  One of things that I love most about this one is how it sparkles.  It shines bright like a diamond, as Rihanna would say!

Speaking of diamonds, I have a milestone birthday coming up in 6 months (can't even believe it) and I've really been thinking about buying myself a diamond ring from My Jewelry Box, preferably a black or colored one.  It's something that I have always wanted and of course it would be great to receive one as a gift, but I think there's something so rewarding about being able to treat yourself to something you really want.  I just think it symbolizes something so much more.  Do any of you feel that way too?

I'm headed into NY tomorrow afternoon and then I have a super early flight Friday morning.  I am not sure if I can get another outfit post in before I go, but I will at least try and post something else.
